The Nokia C7 is expected to have a large amount of publicity put behind it.  This smart phone is going to possibly be announced in September 2010 for a release in October 2010.  However, as of the time that this article was written, the exact release date has not been released.  This phone is going to be one of the most interesting releases in October and is primed to be released just in time for the busy holiday shopping season.

Nokia C7 Specs

The Nokia C7 specs include a 3.5 multitouch display panel, support for Flash, and the ability to charge off of a micro USB connection or using Nokia 2 mm connectors.  The Nokia C7 has not been given any details about the processor or other internals of the device but it is safe to assume that they will be fairly decent.  The Nokia C7 is going to be another candy bar style phone.  This is a mobile phone that is a long stick and cannot be folded or opened up like other smart phones can be.

The Nokia C7 specs also point to the fact that this mobile phone will be able to stream 720p video at 2.7 MBPS.  This speed will provide enough that it will be one of the few candy bar style phones to do so.  Whether this video will be able to be streamed over a cellular network is another situation entirely.  It will largely be up to the networks and whether they are willing or not to work with the mobile phone companies to accommodate the request.

Nokia C7 Review

While few people have been able to give the Nokia C7 review in person, the phone looks like it is going to be a dominant player in the mobile phone market.  Being able to have flash banners as well as stream video is a major plus to have in the mobile phone market. Best of all, people love when they are able to do even more with their mobile phones. While streaming video may not be available in all markets or on certain networks, the Nokia C7 does look like a strong phone to lead Nokia.

One question that many have asked is why does it look like Nokia is going to release the c7 before they are going to release the N8.  The best guess at the moment is that they will release them one after another so that they will be able to fill the market with a phone that has excellent features but is less than their newest flagship phone.

Nokia C7 Price

The Nokia C7 price is estimated to be around 300 euros.  While this price is a little bit steep, hopefully a carrier will pick up the handset and discount it for those who agree to stick to a regular monthly contract.  Otherwise, it will be available for retail price from the electronics stores that typically cell mobile phones.  The Nokia C7 is a strong phone against a large number of competitors.
