With 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 8 mega-pixel camera and amazing qHD display, HTC Sensation 4G is by far the best Android phone by T-Mobile. The sensational smartphone is packed with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0, which guarantees blazing fast and smooth performance. The phone was released on June 15th 2011 in USA by T-Mobile under the name “HTC Sensation 4G”. However, it is simply known as HTC Sensation in the rest of the world.

Sensation’s overall look is pretty stylish yet protective; thanks to the round-edged aluminum body and contoured touch screen. The 4.3″ widescreen display with super high-def (540×960) resolution makes this device one of its kind. Sensation possesses two cameras; an 8 mega-pixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. The 8 mp camera is enhanced by dual LED flash and auto focus capabilities, which can also record 1080p HD videos at the rate of 30fps. New camera-related features are also added to the device like “Instant Camera” that minimizes the shutter lag and captures the image just when you click. On the other hand, the “Video Trimmer” tool allows you to crop video clips so that you can share perfect moments easily with friends and family.

HTC Sensation 4G is loaded with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 1.2 GHz dual-core processor making the gaming and sharing experience super fun. As far as the speed is concerned, T-Mobile’s HSPA+ enabled network offers a download speed of up to 14.4 Mbps and upload speed up to 5.76 Mbps. The internal phone storage is 1 GB with 768 MB RAM. Sensation’s Lithium-ion battery gives a talk time of up to 500 minutes and standby time of up to 285 hours.

Talking about HTC sense, the device exhibits many improvements in terms of graphics and animations. For example, the weather app is now more interactive, skins are more vivid, but most importantly, HTC did a great job by introducing a customizable active lockscreen in Sensation. This is for the first time that HTC has transformed the usual lockscreen into a real-time activity screen from where you can get a peek at your favorite stuff like photos, social networking updates, or weather. You can also jump into your most used features easily through the active lockscreen.

Other than all of that, HTC Sensation 4G is preloaded with a number of apps like HTC Watch, HTC Listen, T-Mobile TV and T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik™. Most of these services are helpful yet many think they are superfluous. Sensation is available at T-Mobile for $199.99 with a 2-year contract. It’s certainly a must-have for all those who haven’t and want to enjoy the HTC Android awesomeness.
