But we are not quite sure, if this move is really going to help Apple and stop people from making smart choices.

The other great news is about the new service started by Amazon called “Kindle Textbook Rental” program. It’s a great deal for students who are already burdened with so many expensesduring their college life. By renting, students can save up to 80% on their textbooks as compared to the printed editions sold on Amazon.com. Students can choose the rental duration from 30 to 360 days and pay the rent accordingly.

Automotive X prize can be said to be defined as a set of events, prize and competitions that are being organized by X prize foundations. These events and competitions are held to inspire all efficient and new generation vehicles that help in breaking America’s addiction towards oil and steam. These may affect the changing climate. One of the car was two-seater Li-on’s WAVE II EV. Other car that won was Team X Tracer Switzerland’s E tracer. This was an awesome electric two wheeler car that was enclosed with motorcycle. It consisted of auto deploying out trigger wheels in it. This car managed to get 205.3 MPGe. It also did 1-60 just under seven seconds. There is one constraint and that is none of them is good from safety point. You may also not find them with any of the dealers.

The main motive with each of these competition remains to build a vehicle that is race super efficient. It must be able to achieve 100 MPGe and must produce less than 200 grams/mile well to wheel Carbon dioxide emission. These may be manufactured for mass production. Under these competitions, there are two main classes of vehicles and those are mainstream and alternative. The mainstream vehicle is to be given $5 million prize while the alternative class have $2.5 million prize with each vehicle. These $2.5 million prize for alternative class is for side by side seating and tandem seating too.

All these had been started to let the students learn about new technologies and methods to develop some of the finest vehicles and electric vehicles that are very light weight and work on electricity medium. Gmail Account settings

It is believed that multiple Gmail accounts sign in is for high end users but not all services from Google support this. For all those sites such as Picasa and other Google facility, you get signed in to the primary account by default, which you have opened in Gmail initially. Reason Number # 1: Privacy Settings

When you create your account the website does not mention the fact that anyone can view your information. All it takes is a Google search, and anyone can look through your pictures, see your information, siblings, date of birth, and so on. Of course, you can change the privacy settings, but if you are unaware that you can actually change the settings, then you will not change them. The privacy bar can be found in Account, Privacy Settings, here you can select who can view your profile, and block search engines from finding you. I suggest, if you haven’t already, check this tab out, and only allow friends to view your profile. If you don’t do this, you make it incredibly easy for someone to steal your identity, and place you or your children in danger. You should also refrain from placing your full address on your profile.

Reason # 2: Criminals

Perhaps your young children are using Facebook to play games or something similar. A kidnapper could very easily add your child as a friend, begin a friendly conversation, find information on where you live, come to your home, and kidnap your child. In order to avoid this, you should educate your son/daughter in the dangers of accepting people they do not know as friends.

Reason # 3: Identity Theft

When you create your account, your profile is stored on one of Facebook’s many databases. The owners, or workers, can easily access your account, and sell your information to other companies. In fact, this occurred quite recently where a worker at Facebook inc, gained access to 1000 Facebook accounts and placed them online for the public to download. So, I suggest not placing any potentially harmful information on your profile, or you could always tell them to leave Facebook.

Reason # 4: Difficulty Deleting Your Account

Have you ever tried deleting your account? Its really quite difficult, and even when you succeed Facebook does not promise to remove your information from their databases.  You will never know for sure if its actually gone.

Reason # 5: Facebook is Useless

The only thing Facebook offers us is a cure for our boredom. Amongst the thousands of applications and games, quizzes, and other useless stuff, there is really no reason to continue using Facebook. So with all the love and excitement, ladies and gentlemen, I present you his “Salat (Prayer) Reminder”.

Unlike many applications of its kind, this FREE Salat Reminder doesn’t only inform you about the daily prayer times, but also to your friends, family, or anyone else through a text message. Once you install this app and set recipients’ numbers, it will send a ‘text alert’ of all the five prayers 10 minutes before the actual time. No matter where you live, it helps you get the correct prayer timings according to your location all over the year (You can update calendar using Wi-Fi or ActiveSync each year). Currently, it is available only for Windows Mobile Phones. The system requirements include:

•Windows Mobile 6.x
•Touch Screen

Note: App was never tested on non touch-screen phone and Windows Mobile 5.x

You can also pretest the application by sending a test message to your desired recipient. What’s more is that it doesn’t run in the background, which saves battery, memory, and processor of your phone. It simply wakes up PPC from suspend/sleep mode and sends SMS every time.

So far, this app has been tested on HTC Touch Pro2 / Tilt 2 / Rhodium with Energy Rom Windows Mobile 6.5, HTC HD 2 / Leo with Windows Mobile 6.5, and LG Incite with Windows Mobile 6.1. The app is a prototype, so it may subject to some errors.

Blu ray technology simply known as blu ray disk (BD) is a next generation computer storage technology that is applied to the optical disk. To explain the blu ray technology one must first understand how it was created. BD was created jointly by the leading players in the field of electronics, computers and media from over 180 companies that formed the Blu Ray Disk association (BDA) the likes of Apple, Hitachi Dell and HP, Samsung electronics, LG Electronics ,Sun Microsystems, Walt Disney Pictures and Warner Bros. Entertainment to name but a few.

This format of recording equipment was created out of the need to enable the high resolution or quality that lacked in other mediums of storage when recording data and information. It was thus created to hold more data up to 5 times as much as traditional DVDs and CDs that is it can hold up to 25 GB of data at any one time on a single layer disk and double that on a double layered disk!

The name ‘blu ray’ is derived from its use of the blue laser ray in encoding data being different to the red laser ray that is used by all the other recording mediums.
